In 2018 Zimgold oil Industries through it’s flagship Zimgold cooking oil brand supporting the Zimbabwe National Football Team ‘Warriors’.
CHARITABLES
Every year we work with various charitable institutions responsible for taking care of the most vulnerable members of our society. We have partnered with a number of local charitable organisations, including children’s homes, old people’s homes and other rehabilitation centres and orphanages that receive various goods, mostly products we manufacture such as the Zimgold Cooking Oil and Zimbrite soap bars
FEEDING THE HOMELESS
As part of our community outreach Zimgold oil Industries under the Zimgold Givers has done community outreach programmes to feed the homeless people on the streets.
COMMUNITY HEROES
In recognition of a special category of people whom we call the Heroes of our Community, these are people who despite the challenges they also face have acted selflessly to help other societal members. As Zimgold oil Industries we honoured this group of special people by giving them a year’s supply of Zimgold cooking oil at a colourful event held at Zimgold oil Industries, in 2020.
SCHOLARSHIP FUND
A joint effort between the Indian Embassy of Zimbabwe and Zimgold oil Industries
Lovejoy Gushungo and SostenMagweva who emerged as the beneficiaries of the scholarship. Lovejoy and Sosten pursued Masters’ Degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering respectively at the highly prestigious Institute of Technology Palakkad (IIT) in India. The institute is part of a group of highly regarded group of Indian Institutes consistently ranked among the top engineering colleges in the world.
